Nearly 25,000 households in south-east Queensland found themselves without power on Monday's dawn after powerful weather events passed over the area, bringing wind gusts topping 109 kilometers per hour.
Large Hailstones and Extensive Impact
Locals reported giant hailstones reaching sizes of seven centimeters in some areas. Weather authorities confirmed that multiple regions across the state had been impacted by significant hail.
