It was classic 'old Buffalo' as they hurt themselves in the foot, getting into a deficit on defensive side and Josh Allen attempting to overcompensate to rescue his squad from the situation - not the composed, disciplined, well-balanced Bills we've witnessed this year

The Dolphins have demonstrated a bit of everything this season so the jury's out on whether this is the start of something, but for Buffalo they'll need an instant response in a difficult matchup against the Buccaneers in week 11 as the Patriots are quietly moving into a comfortable advantage at the top of the AFC East

Traveling to the Ravens is challenging too, but Denver have it even tougher in the AFC West with the Chiefs to face two times, the Los Angeles Chargers (who might also challenge for top seed but encounter the same problem) and also the Green Bay on the schedule

The Indianapolis also play the Kansas City, and have the Seattle, 49ers and two games with the 5-4 Jaguars to face. There's a considerable distance to travel but the door is open for a surprise number one position in the AFC

Two teams with strong arguments to be better than all of the three eight and two teams are National Football Conference West rivals the Seahawks and Los Angeles, who both scored forty points to go to 7-2 ahead of the upcoming major meeting between the two in LA

They've both secured four victories in a consecutive games, have signal callers in Stafford and Darnold performing at an elite level (although Sam Darnold had ball security problems on game day) with excellent pass catchers, and defensive units giving up fewer than twenty points a game

Each could easily be without a loss as too - particularly the Rams as their two defeats occurred in extra time against the San Francisco and then that agonising loss in Philadelphia when they had a potentially winning kick with the final play deflected and run back by the Eagles for a touchdown

Seattle were also defeated to the 49ers, with a last-minute score in the opening week, before falling to the last kick of the game against the Buccaneers - so they're truly among the top teams in the NFL

The upcoming game on Sunday could be the most exciting of the year to date
